Just a quick post today with the results of the Poll and a quick update of the News.
30 people had their say and the results have been counted. Some people clearly let heart rule head, others may well have voted against their on country (like I did). The results as follows:
Who will win the Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand?
10 Australia
8 New Zealand
4 England, France
2 Ireland
1 Scotland, South Africa
0 Argentina, Wales
New poll online now. What do you think the outcome of the 1st match between New Zealand and Tonga will be?
And Finally...
Moody Blues - Lewis Moody is out for England's game against Argentina. Experts, and not so experts alike, are now second guessing as to whether Moody should have been on the plane in the first place.
Ireland 100% - Cian Healy and Gordon D'Arcy are on their way to join the remainder of the Irish squad, after D'Arcy's calf strain and Healy's eye problem have been resolved.
Saints Alive - A late Lamb penalty against his former club saw Northampton squeeze past Gloucester on Sunday in the opening round of the English League. Lamb had already missed a late kick, and Burns dropped a goal, but Northampton scraped by, ensuring a better start than their probable rivals Leicester and Saracens, who both lost surprising 'home' games on Saturday.
